Tone and Flow – a 4 week series that blends basic strength training and functional movement into a sweet, flowing yoga practice.
We’ll build muscle, strengthen bones, enhance stability, and improve balance – all while moving through familiar shapes with intention, breath, and presence. This fusion of conditioning and mindful movement is not only powerful in the studio – it’s an empowering way to support your body through home practice and beyond. It’s an integral approach to aging with grace and strength.

Tuesdays: April 22, 29, May 6, 13 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM PT Online via Zoom only.
Registered participants will have access to each week’s class recording for 30 days. This makes it easy to repeat, revisit, and weave strength training into your ongoing home practice.
Recommended Equipment
While you can certainly participate in this practice without any additional equipment, you’ll get more benefit with the inclusion of the following:
- Yoga mat
- Two yoga blocks
- One blanket
- One set of 2-3 lb weights* One set of 5-8 lb weights* Workout sliders, coated paper plates (like Dixie dinner plates) OR access to a hardwood floor (for slippery sun salutations 🙂
If you’re new to strength training, we recommend starting with the lighter weights. You may even need just one set. You can also go heavier if you like!
