Have current events or other stressors made it impossible for you to get a good night’s sleep? Do you struggle to fall asleep because your mind is ruminating and futuretripping? Do you wake up frequently throughout the night – or way too early in the morning – and find it difficult to quiet your mind to get back to sleep?

You are not alone. More than one-third of American adults sleep fewer than the recommended seven hours per night.

Most of us are familiar with the consequences of chronic sleep deprivation. Insomnia, frequent waking, and/or disrupted sleep leaves us exhausted, inattentive, and unproductive – not to mention increases the risks of a myriad of health conditions. It takes a toll on our mental, physical, and emotional resilience. So, what can we do when quality sleep is elusive? Yoga offers us valuable tools for working with anxiety to achieve a better night’s sleep.

This 4-week yoga therapy series is created for those struggling with insomnia, sleeplessness, and interrupted sleep due to anxiety. In this series, you will learn and practice simple therapeutic yoga practices that can help to shift your agitated, fight-or-flight nervous system response to a calmer, rest and digest state of mind and body. You will develop proven, foundational skills to reclaim restful nights, boost daytime energy, and build resilience for life’s inevitable ups and downs.

Week 1: Foundational Sleep Tools
Week 2: Evening Prep for a Better Night’s Sleep
Week 3: Train Your Mind to Sleep Well
Week 4: Set the Stage for A Good Day

Important Notes – Please read carefully:

– Pre-registration for the series is required on or before March 21. No exceptions.
– Class size is limited to 8 for this series. Yoga therapy group classes are kept intentionally small to ensure that every student gets attention.
– This is an online only series. You will need a quiet place to practice without distractions.
– All participants will be required to:
Submit a brief, informational yoga therapy intake form, disclosing sleep & anxiety issues. This allows the yoga therapist context and background for each individual, and is strictly confidential.
– Complete a feedback form at the end of the series.

* Enrollment for this series is very limited. If you know that you are unable to attend all 4 sessions, we ask that you please leave the enrollment spot for someone else who can. Know that we do hope to offer this series again in the future, and perhaps that timing will work better for you. Thank you for your thoughtfulness
