Join Datza Tamane as she guides you through yoga poses that enhance flexibility, mobility, and focus, sharpening your mind while energizing your body. Once you’re warm and centered, Jason Thams will lead an invigorating martial arts workout, blending elements of boxing, kickboxing, and Wing Chun. Experience full-body exercises, footwork, striking, and kicking in a lively atmosphere that boosts both physical strength and mental clarity.

We’ll wrap up with a soothing yoga cool down to calm the mind, support recovery, and leave you feeling balanced and refreshed.

This class is ideal for anyone seeking to sharpen their focus, boost energy, and enjoy the calming effects of yoga with the thrill of martial arts. We can’t wait to see you in class!

Instructors: Datza Tamane & Jason Thams

Datza Tamane – the creator and visionary for Datza Yoga Studio, which has been based in Eastlake, Seattle since 2018. For Datza, yoga is a lifelong journey of understanding and appreciating your beautiful body.

Heralding from Riga, Latvia where from an early age traditional music, dance and sports was a part of everyday life, Datza discovered the joy of using her body to create movement and expression. Datza became captivated with yoga as she felt true self-reflection, personal development and empowerment can be possible through grounded and inclusive practice.

Jason Thams – a dedicated martial artist with nearly 30 years of teaching experience. He holds a second degree black belt in full contact karate under Shihan Brian Knechtges.

As a lifelong martial artist, Jason has cross-trained in Judo, Hapkido, Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Sport Jiu Jitsu. He is a certified personal trainer with an additional focus on fundamental boxing specific training methods and has led boxing/kickboxing group fitness classes. His teaching style is positive, uplifting and energetic. With his varied background and strong communication skills, he excels at bringing the best out of his students.
