Prānāyāma is the yogic practice of focusing on breath. In Sanskrit, prāṇa means “vital life force”, and yāma means to gain control. In yoga, breath is associated with prāṇa, thus, pranayama is a means to elevate the prāṇa ṣakti, or life energies. Join us this month to flow on your mat and practice a variety of breathing techniques. New techniques will be focussed on every class and we will explore movement in synchronization with breath.
Meet Isha – Influenced by her journey of navigating life away from home, Isha is deeply passionate about inclusivity and diversity of the mental, emotional and physical in a yoga space. With over 7 years of experience practicing yoga in India, Dubai and the US, she brings with her deep studentship and hope to inculcate love and respect for the art and lineage of yoga, and al that it encompasses.
